Courses
With more than 1,500 virtual learning classes, including special education and AP courses, there is something for everyone at South Central Michigan Virtual (SCMV). SCMV counselors collaborate with each student to help them reach their educational goals, guiding them as they select courses.
K-5th grade
Elementary students (K-5th grade) have a full academics menu plus art and music. Young learners are sponges and it’s a great time to learn a second language. SCMV has four foreign language options including Latin.
6th-8th grade
Middle school (6th-8th grade) students can choose from 27 online classes from health to German. Electives include several music and art options to keep both sides of the brain engaged.
9th-12th grade
High school students (9th-12th grade) have a wealth of online school options. High schoolers hoping to earn college credit have 20 AP classes to pick from. Mathematics runs the gamut from Geometry to Trigonometry. Sports fans can even enroll in our ‘Math of Baseball’ online class.
