SCMV Options is South Central Michigan’s hybrid/cohort K‑8 program that combines rigorous online coursework with caring, in‑person support to help every learner thrive academically, behaviorally, and socially.

    • K‑5 (elementary)
    • 6‑8 (alternative middle school)
  • Ideal Learners:
    • Students needing flexible schedules or smaller settings
    • Small, intimate elementary classrooms organized in a cohort model with AM sessions for lower elementary and PM sessions for upper elementary students
    • Learners who benefit from behavior intervention and restorative supports
    • Families seeking a collaborative, tech‑forward option in Jackson County and surrounding areas

    Structured screener assigns students to Cohorts A‑D, ensuring targeted supports & clear transition goals.

    Edgenuity Edge/Lincoln Learning platform + certified teachers = anytime, anywhere standards‑aligned instruction.
  3. Whole‑Child Supports
    Counselors, Social workers, Behavioral Interventionist, Attendance coaches, Success Coaches, social‑emotional learning (SEL), PBIS, restorative circles, and trauma‑informed practices.
  4. Family Partnership
    Weekly progress updates, in-person and virtual office hours, and parent workshops keep caregivers in the loop.
  5. Data‑Driven Monitoring
    Weekly behavior & academic dashboards guide timely interventions and celebrate growth.
